Bush is one of the worst presidents of America ever. And the Pope is just an old sick man, who doesn't know who he is, or where he is.

I agree... If they want to make the Catholic Church a strong symbol again, a strong leader is needed. I also totally agree with the Shrub part. If you look how popular he was BEFORE 9/11, you'll know what I'm talking about. He just uses the "war on terrorism" to make him popular. The man even convinced you guys Saddam was gonna attack the USA... Saddam didn't even had any weapons that could reach US soil...

As with so many threads, I see that this one, too, has devolved into more lame European US/Bush-bashing.

You guys need to get a life - or maybe you're right: if there was no Bush or America, people all over the world would be singing and holding hands and peace would reign forever with flowers floating through the air and cute, friendly birds landing on my shoulder.

There's always a group of idiots who want to make fun of or abuse an establishment, like kids showing disrespect to police just so their friends think they're cool. It's funny how those same people DEMAND, as their given right, the services of that establishment, such as the police.

For once, pick up a history book or read something other than conspiracywackjob.com.:wall:

I suppose you euros would like it better if Clinton was back in office again?

That man was the worst president in the last 80 years. He was good at glad handing everyone and brushing over the facts with misdirection, though, and had the full backing of the majority of the mainstream press on both continents; so he could literally get away with murder.

But this is a pointless discussion as well. If you europeans want to do something about our president, emigrate to the US and cast your vote. If you don't vote here, your opinion about the US president carries no weight.

Very true, people always seem to forget that. I believe his longest range missile was only capable of travelling 180 miles.
You can't spell St!nkf!nger without st!nk (now with stats to prove it!)

He did better things in the economy than Bush Jr, and Bush Sr.
And hell, even a president had a sex life. Lewinski wanted only money. If she didn't liked to get shagged by Bill, why didn't she told that to the police much earlier?? Aparantly she liked it.

WTF do you know about our economy except what you read in the newspaper from your socialized hospital bed?

And you approve of married men having extramarital affairs? It has nothing to do with what Lewinsky might have wanted... a person who is not a slave to their penis would have kept his fly zipped!

And he wasn't being impeached for having sex. He was being impeached for perjuring himself in front of Grand Jury. This is still a fact. The senate just didn't have the stones to pass the vote to impeach.

IMO the frustration comes from the constant barrage of comments from people with ill-informed opinions... (No offense to anyone, but I couldn't think of a different way to put it)

Oke, I know what you mean. And I understand it. But look it this way ( and also this is not an offend to you guys):
Americans can get very fast influenced. For example: few months ago everybody ( Americans) supported Bush in his war against terrorisme. Now, after the war is 'over', it seems Bush 'lied' ( or the CIA) in his speech about nuclaire weapons in Africa + there is still no weapons found in Iraq.
Now suddenly more than 30% of the USA has another opinion about the war.

Now I am re-reading it. It makes no sence to the subject. But it was something I really wanted to say to you guys. You don't have to get pissed about it, it is just our European ( at least mine) opinion :)
