Thanks for the ecological disaster part - I totally overlooked that.

And until you see a US of A oil tanker back up to the Iraqi oil pump and sail away without paying...

:rotflmao: :rotflmao: Couldn't have said it better myself (well, I'd have left out the STFU part;) )

You're right, we didn't do it to get cheap oil. But we did do it to get more oil. Let's not forget that our President, his dad, Cheney and alot of their friends are oil men afterall.

Besides the other things that've been mentioned, I have one additional question to your hypothesis here, St!nk. If the US indeed attacked Iraq solely for more oil, why is it that the UK also attacked, while Portugal, Spain, Italy, and the rest of Europe (sans only France, Germany, and Belgium) support the war? Surely they can't all have rich oil friends?

Folic... very nice. What a resfreshing concept, a logical question.

The mid that I was talking about was Seedorf. He started in 1994.
LoL. Maybe he plays well at AC Milaan ( or wherever he plays now), but not in the national team.
And something else, Seedorf is realy champ in missing penalties. If he have to kick the ball from penalty-position against the Chinese Wall, I know for sure he miss :rotflmao:

hey guys, shall I start a new thread for you soccer-lovers? Cause this thread is about something more serious... Let's not put 2 discussions into one!!!

i know, even I came up with a thread about the names he didn't know, but that was only one time.

So start the soccer-thread and dicuss everything overthere :)

good idea Dutchy. But how about: a soccer playend Chirac, a baseball player Bush Jr. and the Pope as the catcher ? :P

Sometimes you can combine things ;)

And Nelson Mandela will take the corners... :)
Our Prime ministre Balkenende (a.k.a. Harry Potter) will be on goal with his magic-stick...

And the coach of the team will be the chimp of Michael Jackson!?!

Enough about soccer...

Public Apology

I'd like to apologize to FLOPPY for attacking him like I did here in these forums.

If anything, I'm guilty of two things;

Being a pompous, self-righteous ass.
Not doing my research.

I get a little sensitive when people attack my country (despite some of its glaring faults in world politics), and I vented my frustration at FLOPPY, who, if anything, was merely expressing his thoughts and feelings rather coherently, despite using a second language.

I sometimes forget this is a global forum. I've read some of FLOPPY's previous posts and found them quite humorous and refreshing.

So, I humbly apologize to him publicly. I hope he takes this post more seriously than the posts in which I attacked him.

P.S. This was not initiated by any 'authority figure' at ECGN. I did this by my own choice.

OK I started the thread in the smoking room. Last point here.. Seedorf did play on your 1994 and 98 Cup and your Euro 2000 teams.

Yeah, right...

{scene fades to MMmmGood, lounging in stately Good Manor}

MG looks out the window... "Good grief! It's the Good Signal! There's trouble in the forums!"

MG jumps off the couch, hits the secret button to the Good Cave, and disappears into the entrance.

Emerging in the Good Cave, MMmmGood flips a switch, turning on the monitors for the cray computers that he uses to monitor world wide events and the status of the forums.

"What's this? Problems between the world of Wolf and BF? I'll just have to do something about this..." says MG to no one in particular (his voice dropping 3 octaves.)

Swinging into action, MG jumps in the GoodMobile......

{this bad joke has been cut off due to fact this joke has run it's course}

Wrist, I had 'Good pictured more as a 'Blankman' type; with just the push of a button, deadly implements such as a flying, spring-loaded boxing glove are at his disposal on his sophisticated utility belt.:D
