Fake objectives?

Ok, this scenario occured a couple months ago, but i just thought of it again, and i was wondering if anyone had an explanation for it:

I don't know who it was, but someone had the objectives on the 24/7 beach server, and we were running with them the long way, but he was killed and the axis ran over the obj, but it said "Axis returned nothing or nil or somethin along those lines". It turns out someone else had the obj. I dont know how to explain it, but its like someone dropped a fake, and used it as a diversion (seems like a crafty trick). Is it a trick/glitch or whatever, or did an admin just reset the objectives...idk, im confused. If you know how to do it, I wouldn't mind getting the info

I have seen multiple people with the exclamation mark over there heads at the same time before.

can you intentionally drop the docs on 24/7 beach?

like dropping a weapon.

Yes you can.

You must drop everything down to your knives, then drop once more and the docs will fall.

I do this when I am a soldier with the docs and there is a 'Regular' being a medic close by.

I think you can only drop the objective once per life...so if you drop them and pick them up again no more dropping.

i dont think so i saw this gut drop and pick up the obj very fast he had 350 points.

I dunno about it saying "axis returned nothing" I've never seen anything like that, but I have seen two people with the exclamation point above their heads, and I was the one with the "fake" exclamation, it happened when I died with the papers and they were picked up by someone else on the team, when I respawned I still had the exclamation.

Well I don't know what exactly this "quote" said. All I know is that when the axis killed the allied soldier and ran over the objectives it said Axis returned nil or fake or somethin, and then within 2 seconds another guy ran up from behind me and had the objectives, and ended up winning. Do you think its possible that the allied soldier dropped the obj right before dying and by doing so it made a "copy"?

only problem is you can't throw knives when you have objective cause you throw your docs. i had that a couple of times i wanted to stab him and i gave him the docs.

really stupid but funny shit

It might have been a spy that recovered the docs for your side. But, I have no clue.

I had something wierd happen once too. I was an axis soldier but I rarely ever spy. So I go into the ducts and this axis kid kept saying your an allie, I said no I never stole an allied uniform. So I left the ducts and my whole team kept shooting me thinking I was an allie so I realized he was right. So I didnt know how I became a spy with out taking their clothes. Later I died by a nade or soemthing from an allie. Once I respwaned I still had the allies uniform and it stayed with me threw out the game...thought it was kinda wierd...but cool for me. And for all the admins....ship wreck was on and I asked him if he should kick me incase of a glitch, he said to just keep playing it will go away...so dont call me a cheater lol.

Well in that case I am wrong . I set up my own shrubmod server once and I could only drop the objective once I guess it was my server settings .

if you drop the objective and get it back it won't get you more points on the ecgn server or thats what mmmmgood told me ill try it when i get the chance. and lately i have seen not mutch of the war room when i was an allied player

Hahahah, so I could get the objective and hide it somewhere where no one will find it, that way I can go get it after respawn? Seems like a nice strategy!
