I think you need to practice your Less-Gay-Threads'manship instead.

Forgive the length of this post, but I think it's important in life that when one sees something of import, something that rises above the paltry day-to-day mundane issues of should I get flax-seed or rye bread, that one pauses to reflect on the meaning of your life, of the isssues at stake, where your heart lies, and make a stand.

Doug, though we've had our problems in the past, and though I don't support your decision regarding the hair-plugs, I can only respond to your thread here with gusto, pride and respect. Truly, the exodus from your previous political entrenchments reveals a quality of your nature that is admirable. You are a pioneer of concepts, a pilgrim following the road of truth and wisdom to what eventual goal I cannot say. And should I? Your shadow, that dancing brief eclipse of your progress upon the path less-followed I glimpse through the woods and am filled with awe, with dread... How can one like I, caught as I am amongts the groping throng judge that which if I were to see direct would only blind me? No....I shall leave the rhetoric of judgement to those who would use your noble flight to use in some twisted juxtaposition, a shameless example of conjecture and absurdity to drive on the masses by comparison of states between that which they suffer and the one, far far worse, they shall make you demonize.

And what of eventual fates? When, at the end, you hold high the grail, the answer, have become by example the living embodiment of ideals, what distance can measure us then to you? Your quest that becomes by nature of our cursed state so beyond culpability that you stand, divine, alone, wretched and sad.... Ahh... Can Fate offer any greater irony? Grievous end to offer Eden and be stoned.

Thank you, Doug, for this.
