Hmm, I've heard of quad Xeon boards... granted they're more than $5,000... but four xeons has to be faster than two Rotten apples... and I bet you can run Battlefield on them too...

AMD makes a 2.0 Ghz 64-Bit Cpu, called Opteron, get it with a AGP X8 motherboard and your all set. Its also $817 for the cpu alone, but I don't know anyone who needs those kind of speeds.

What video card did you get?

Actually, although I'm myself a PC user, I've got to admit Macs are still darn good machines. Now that the OS is Linux, they're fast and stable (saying the G5 is the fastest IS marketing hype though).

Their only problem is the lack of software, especially in the gaming world. Don't let yourself be thrown off by the drones, Gusbenz.

I know I do not hate windows...and I wish macs had more games. Just that I can change to a windows user. I know macs to well. I agree that it's marketing hype but still that G5 looks very cool.

bah.. I cant stand Macs.

The only thing they are remotely good for is video editing. Other than that, its pretty much useless imo.

Not to mention the price. They are more expensive than anything else on the market.
