Favorite War? Am I crazy?

Postby DocTrebor » Thu Aug 21, 2003 3:27 pm

Ok, so I was just talkin about war history and what not with one of my friends and I mentioned that, and I believe these were my exact words, "I don't know, WWII was my favorite war..." Should someone have a "favorite war"? It just doesnt have a nice ring to it. :wall:

Bart Simpson said it best -

"There are no good wars, with the following exceptions: The American Revolution, World War II, and the Star Wars Trilogy."

Hahahahah, well said about star wars. Anyways, I agree, all wars are bad, and can seem pointless. Of course I'd rather see a less violent approach to conflict resolution, like a nice game of chess, but I guess sometimes it is inevitable.

You forget Royal Crown Cola or RC Cola as it is commonly known. It is still big in the midwest. :)

Yeah, but it's not pepsi or coke. So it doesn't count.

I donät see anzthing wrong with having a favorite war. Itäs not like we start them.

Mine would have to be Vietnam. I mean bombs, drugs, and rock n roll!

If the war played in Operation Flashpoint was really true I would choose that, but I will stand with WWII as my favourite war:D

The American Revolution is a Historic war for the U.S.

WWII and the Civil War were Important wars to win.

War will bring the downfall of man to justice.

There are no great wars, only tragic ones.
