In all reality, the short, chubby, little kid running N. Korea only wants to threaten the United States for money. Unless we get a President with some 'balls' then we will keep dishing out billions of dollars to this 'punk'.

But, if we do go to war with N. Korea, the United States will not be the target of the Nukes and Bio-weapons. S. Korea will.

heres how i see it, North Korea is poor as shit and they develope nuclear weapons to get money from the US by threatening them, if they dont north korea will see lthe nukes to other countries maybe even terrorists for money... north koreas president doesnt have the testicles to try to nuke us, im pretty sure he isnt that dumb although all the kids in elementary school over there have to have 1 class a day studying his life, past and present

The chances of an attack on the actual US are slim. While he does have, i think, 2 nukes presently, the chances of them having the range to the US, and slipping threw our defenses is extremely small.

While I agreed with going into iraq, I did not for the BS reasons Bush stated(and proved BS afterwards), nor for the excuse that he had to be delt with right away. N Korea is a much greater threat to Western powers.

N Korea is a very poor country. They country survives ONLY because the copy other countries weapons, then sell them to whoever they can. This is the ONLY steady source of income, and is the ONLY thing keeping their economy from being complete crap(instead of just the partial it is now).

With N Korea admitting to enriching platonium for weapons, it is a no brainer that this is our biggest threat. It is not hard to understand he will sell these weapons to terrorists that will target Western powers like the US, England, etc.

Why we had to start a war with Iraq over N Korea is beyond me(unless of course, you factor in a President gambling it will get him a second term and secure over seas oil at reduced prices). Iraq should have been the 6th or 7th country to deal with. N Korea the first.

you guys talk about not being attacked like it will never ever happen to us, like we are on some kind of high hourse. we have been attacked before...remember 9-11? or maybe pearl harbor? we could be attacked at any time...those countries have nothing to lose. although i doubt we will be attacked any time soon by terrorists or any other nations. but i am sure in my life we will be attacked again by terrorists or a nation, anything is possible. there will always be hate, racism, etc in this world and i doubt it will go away any time soon. we were attacked on 9-11 because of the terrorists religion and because of the way we act...it does not settle with their religion.

I think if N. Korea wanted to to attack the US, they would certainly wait. Why attack now with only a few weapons when they could bide their time until there were enough nukes that many would get through.

When it comes down to it, if someone truly wants to nuke someone else, there's very little that can be done to prevent it. Unlike an attack like 9-11 that takes months of planning and then rolls out at the speed of the terrorists ability, a nuke attack simply requires the pushing of a button and the turning of a few keys and you've got an ICBM hurtling along it's path at Mach 6. I know the frontline fighters would have a good chance of knocking down a few nukes headed our way, but I certainly wouldn't hedge my bets that they'd get them all.

And if that happened, I sure hope to god that the defender doesn't enact a plan of mutually assured destruction, or that's it for the planet.

Large differences between high jacked air planes and a sneak attack during the early 40's and a nuke leaving southern Asia and heading our way.

Out defense is monitoring just for that missle, and it will be taken out over the ocean.
