Some people may have read this already. Its a gamespot interview with stalker developers. It gives a lot of good info and details about the game. I think its a good read.

ive done quite bit of reading up on this game, and Im quite amazed at how realistic and detailed this game will be.
here are some details I have pieced together:

1. you have to eat or you will starve
2. you can either buy food or hunt wildlife for it
3. you have to sleep or get rest or you will pass out
4. if you are wounded, you must get it attended to or you will eventually bleed to death.
5. ammo is limited
6. cars will run out of gas
7. cars need to be maintained or they will fall apart.
8. time passes ie. day and night
9. weather effects
10. weapons need maintenance
11. some of the machine guns actually need gas to run
12. there is an exact in game model of the chernobyl nuclear plant facility,and the two surrounding cities.
13. total freedom within the game world.
14. gameworld has currency and an economy

and the list goes on...

well im just going to make this like an official stalker thread or something. Ill keep posting links to cool things about the game whether everyone is looking forward to this game or not:D Besides ive got nothing better to do when im between classes at school. to top it off, my desktop pc is currently dead at the moment(dont ask, it happened cause i was being stupid) so i wont be gaming until i scrounge up some money to fix it.

so here is an awesome 5 minute game trailer. It shows off the graphics, and the game physics. Plus its got some cool music. pay special attention to how realisitic the sky looks.

So in the game can you just go were ever you want wehn you want? Take a car and just drive?

well from what ive read and seen, that seems to be the case.
the single player game consists of one big 30 square kilometer map. I guess you are only limited by what type of equipment you have. for example, if there is a section of the world that has too much radiation, you would need the right body suit in order to go into it without dieing.

well they have said there will be death match, team deathmatch, co-op, and a couple of original multiplayer modes. all modes will have support for 64 players, except for co-op.
co-op sounds cool because it is actually playing the single player game with like 7 other people or something like that.
