Off topic, but don't go too far overboard - after all, we are watching...heh.

Originally posted by relayPoint Uhm. Genius, the Suzuki Wagon R+ is a JAPANESE MARKET "K" CAR. Obviously I'm the only collector around here. What I drive depends on my mood. Here's a short list of the ones I drive -regularly-, as opposed to those that only go out for shows.
-94 Ford Escort RS Cosworth, Modified (380BHP+ flywheel)
-02 Regal GS, Work in Progress (dual exhaust, pulleys at machine shop, waiting on headgaskets.)
-95 Ford Escort Pony, uhm.. yeah. (It's the beater, SHUSH.)
-86 Daytona TurboZ C/S, Factory.
-86 Daytona TurboZ C/S, Still Being Decided On.
-93 Daytona IROC R/T, Mmm.. 225HP.
-Lancer EvoVIII will be ordered next week, presuming time can be found.
And yes, there are more. Not all entirely mine, but jointly
owned in effect. (No I will not get into the legal shit.) Most of
those, however, are MINE. Please, come race me. I dare
you. Wanna know what happened to the last Honda?

Honda Me
.. an Escort lover... Which may also mean your full of shit..
But if you not I won't advise getting the Lancer. For a 40k car it only runs around 14'ish, and thats not acceptable. One of my friends(rich) had his daddy buy him one, and we will never let him live it down what a waste of money it was.
BTW I have stock alloy rims for the 86 Daytona. A future classic if its all stock.

wow I do not have such knowlegde about cars, I do not understand why spending so much money on those addons, imports or whatever you call them increasing the cost.
I think it is enough to use a GREAT sound system to make music sounds fine ( mp3 of course) and a wide bigger car to feel like you are at home (no smaller cars please).

I currently have a 99 Grand Am. Never buy one, they are horrible for maintence. Only has 48K and I have already put in about $2500 in repairs.
In about 6 to 8 weeks I will have a brand new VW Jetta GLS 1.8T, with sport suspension. Test drove one whent he Wolfsburg editions came out, now that they are done with I have been looking at the GLS. Test drove a GLS just the other day, love the way she road. I have to get leather as i hate the cloth interior.

Currently have 2 cars. One is a 2001 Roush Stage 3 Mustang (#71). It has a supercharged V8 that puts out about 400hp at the flywheel on only 6psi of boost. Suspension generates .91-.98g on the skidpad, depending on who's running the test. Either way, there's absolutely zero body roll. Other car is a 1989 Mustang 5.0 Convertable; the daily driver. LOL, thx. I like Saleen a lot, they're sweet cars. I looked into them but was scared off by their current financial situation and the problems that the current owners are having getting their cars fixed. Well, that and they're slower anyway. I hope they get things squared away and can get back in the black. I've heard they have some new investors coming in to bail them out. Maybe by the time you're ready to buy one, they'll be okay again. Then give me a call, I know some great mountain twisties up near Lake Tahoe we can go flog these things around

Since my car (Suzuki Wagon R+) is no where near as impressive as most of the pics on here, I just thought you would like to see a few pics of my husband's Mazda Rx7. He had to sell it recently so he's a bit sad it's gone, but no doubt he will probably get another one...
Giggles.

As far as the 281 e vs stage 3 goes, there is .1 difference in their 0-60 times, but i think the saleen makes up for that with its looks.
here is my ultimate dream car...*drools*...shelby series 1.

You're right, there's not a huge difference between the two in acceleration. Realistically, it would be a driver's race. And looks are always a subjective thing; you better like how the car looks if you're going to drop major $$$ on it. Only article I've ever found directly comparing the two. Unfortunately, it was all straight line comparisons, no twisties

Well, that is a picture that has been photoshopped, it doesn't look that nice.
Pontiacs make big ol' POS now adays. The GTO is looking liek the first good thing Pontiac has done in a long time. Wait before trying to buy one, there is to be a very limited edition with 400 HP compared to the 350HP on the stock GTO.
