Hi,

for once I'll be serious. I'm non American but, in this day, I'd like everyone to have a special thought for innocent people who were murdered 2 years ago.

I'm all for that, but why doesn't anyone ever give a special thought to the innocent people that die EVERY day from terrorist attacks?

We should all do that too.

But you're absolutely right, Cashcow. BUT I did not want to spread any political message. The problem with terrorism is that it's always linked to bad reason(s) (according to me) : religious, political, financial or... the three at the same time.

The only thing I wanted to tell about this is: 3021 wasted lives. For what? I dont wanna judge the reasons, I just wanted people to remember that funest day.
I heard on the radio this morning: "terrorism is an agressive way of revolt".
All these people had family, wife, husband, childeren, friends who still miss them... Some of the victims maybe had an uncommon fate: something great to achieve, some discover to find out or just, the most beautiful: some child to 'make'. And, in 2 hours, 3021 lives erradicated and still thousands of people suffering by the absence of these dead people. This is sad, really sad but, most of all (still according to me): USELESS...

every american is affraid of terrorisme and is willing to give up everything just to feel save and this leads to this.

the human rights are not respected anymore in america
people that get arrested for being a terrorist don't have a good tryal with a lawyer they are send into prison without even the chance of contacting one.(perhaps they did something wrong but still you have the human rights)

people can get arrested and put in to jail without any proof just clues offcourse most off them did something wrong but i think many people will suffer about this.

i had a friend of mine visiting family in canada a month ago. they search her completely they were with one family. the police didn't believe them. they found something in the luggage to cut paper (don't know the name in english ) they confiscated it. it was from her young sister it was not sharp at all she was frightened to dead im sorry but. thats not really a very good attitude towards the rest of the world. i don't see uss searching all the american for baby toys. just one case.

i know a good security level is needed in america for now but i think you should find why people do that. they have their reasons. how stupid and horrifying these people are. these things have reasons.

offcours i can't think off any good reason that should allow people to kill more then 3000 people.

so i'm gonna take brief moment to think of the people that died that day hoping it will never end and people will all live in a happy world without bin laden without all qaida and without bush.

I know you didn't. And what I said wasn't even a political message, it's just an overall moral that I tend to preach to people who dedicate so much to 9/11... and nothing to all the other innocent men, women, and children who die every day at the hands of terrorists and suicide bombers across the world, particularly in the Middle-East.

I felt safe before 9-11 and never thought something like that would ever happen. I still feel safe now after but I think we need to change a lot of things in America because we still have a lot of work, security wise, ahead of us. Like the other day a 25 year old shipped himself in a crate, that could have been a terrorist in the crate. My mother works for the TSA at Logan airport in Boston Massachusetts and my brother is a Marine, so they are doing their part helping out. I think if we all keep an eye out some thing like 9-11 will not happen again. As for the suicide bombers in the other countries that has been going on for so long, it is all because of religion and boundries. There are too many different religions around the middle east so of course there will be wars, fights, and terrorists over there. And for some who dont know, I am sure most do, the twin towers were attacked once in 1991 I believe by terrorists...one fire man who was there said "they will be back to get the job done", he died on 9-11 on the second attack. I dont think terrorists will use planes again but I do believe they will attack us again some time in my life time. Just some history and some of my opinions...as for 9-11 my heart goes out to all the victoms and people affected by it.

1. you are seriously mistaken. while old people, maybe some women and children might be afraid, the general population is not living in fear of an attack. i don't know where u get your info from, but certainly they are trying to give you the percpetion we are all shaking in our shoes. this is not the case. we are ready to fight and die if need be.

2.so sorry. we were attacked. in times of war, things must be done. we wouldnt be prudent for our personal security if we let people suspected of terrorism run loose on the streets. if you were attacked, your country would take similar measures. it's a matter of self preservation. this is war. things will go back to normal if/when things are resolved.

3. agreed. it's time that people in the US try to understand WHY we were attacked. certainly these people had reasons. they didn't do it for no reason at all. i think that most Americans would just rather believe that our government has always had good intentions in every thing it has done around the world. this is simply not the case. until the average US citizen tries to understand the reasons why we were attacked, we are no better off today than we were on 9/10. but keep in mind that some of the reasons given for the attack were complete bullshit. for example, though it hasnt been broadly discussed, some hardline Arabs feel that Western life is intruding on their way of life. they don't want this, and will(and have) taken measures to prevent it.

don't be fooled. the attacks on 9/11 were attacks on the US for things done in the past, as much as they were attacks on Western way of life. if you don't beleive that, just listen very closely to the messages given by Al Qeada, and take notice of the targets they hit around the world. whether u live in the US, Europe or Australia, we are all in this together, like it or not. they hate you almost as much as they hate us.

i don't think its a good thing that everybody wants to fight or die cause thats what you gonna do if you go there. every day a douzen attacks on american soldiers. how mutch longer are you gonna take this? i'm guessing you will have no prob with that untill a relative gets killed and your governement isn't changing anything. i know you guys honor you dead soldiers but for what did they die.

i can understand it but i just hope they won't make bigger mistakes then thisone searching a family coming from belgium not from iraq or a moslim country. anyway you are right in a way. i just hope this resolves rapidly
