Axis or Allies????

Hi There,
Just curious to know whether you prefer playing as an Axis or an Allies player?

I guess I should first give my answer to my own thread so here it is....

For me, I think it depends on how many are on the server. If it's almost full then I prefer to go Axis because as an Allie I find it almost impossible to get down to the basement. With all the air-strikes, grenades and bullets to dodge it gets a bit frustrating to lose lives in the trenches so quick sometimes. If the server is only part full, then it's real good fun to be Allies. The battles in the war room are just so intense and bloody sometimes, its amazing!
I like playing Axis alot too cause then I can choose to play a different class. On the Allied side I am always a medic otherwise I just get killed off to quick in any other class...oops! I love being an Axis medic and being a Lt can be fun when I chase after all my team mates filling up their back packs with ammo. And it's a great feeling to know you just killed off 6 enemy players with one air-strike.
And of course there is the added pleasure of being the one in the war room to open fire on the unsuspecting Allie player who just nicked the Docs.

So now you know what I like, what does everyone else prefer?

I like the Axis the most. Just so many ways to defend that's sooo much fun. When I'm axis I'm mostly a Ltn in the beginning. When the walls are blown up to tiny little pieces I change to medic. The most fun I have is in the Basement. And if the Allieds get in the warroom a lot, I stay in the warroom. I know, I know, it's camping. But I love it. And that's what the game is all about. I don't play for points, I play for winning. When I'm on allieds I'm mostly a medic too, I just love that medic, especially in the oc48 server. You almost never have a short of ammo. You start with 60 bullets, and you can pick up many guns. So there are times I have 300 bullets. Now that is fun!

i like both, but mostly once there are more than 40 players on the server i go to another, i don't like too much players (except to practice the goomba-kill, cause with so many allies coming from bunker it is difficuled not to hit one of them )

i like axis cuz 'its payback time now' (edited the last word ) as someone always says on the server. also, i get to use my goomba skills as an axis. i like being and ally cuz i can go on a poisen rampage. quoted from our clan site (offensive/defensive classes)

I like to dance! You don't believe me? If you see me on the oc48 server ask me for a dance. I had this time I was dancing in the warroom, Everyone was flipping around backside down. Ok, we did lost that game, cause suddenly a bunch of non-dancing Allieds came rushing in my balletroom. and took the docs. But we had a nice dance. My syle is somekind of boogie woogie, but in the oc48 when your a medic and walking so strange, I love to do some breakdancing. Pretty cool, you should try it out!

I'll admit I was always a huge fan of Axis since I got this game, i'd rarely play Allies if at all.. really didn't interest me and YES of course I was one of those sit in the war room and wait for them to come and then pummel them types at first till I left and came back to WOLF and found their was very few servers that weren't stopwatch anymore and of course this server is the most compeditive and best out there so I had to make due and honestly I don't mind it at all. I'm still a huge Axis fan.. I see it like this.. its time to sweat and show em what you can do when playing ALLY and support as best you can while Axis its a lay back and rack up the points kind of deal... its slack , easier I find it. So I enjoy them both for their qualities.. Axis so I can be lazy and kill tons of people and Allies so I can have a nice challenge keep my adrenaline pumping.

I like Allies better....Axis is boring, basically the time that I use to chat with other players.......Even though its tough on Allies when the server is full, there is always that chance somebody will break through and win the game, isnt that what is all about, winning when the odds are stacked against you:D

First I check to see who is on the server, and what type of mood I am in... If I see may S.S. or A.S.H. guys on one side, I decide whether I perfer to play "teammate" or do I want to check my aiming skills... I must say, the most satisfying is to be part of a 5-8 man team on ally with close to 52 peeps on the server, and successfully run back the docs. Getting a high number of head-shots is a goal too..usually more fun while being an axis.

allies. not so fun when youre axis and things are locked down tight. that and it sometimes becomes more of a routine on axis. not that running from the forward bunker to trenches only to explodes within seconds is any less routine...

I prefer axis, i always try to get on axis but if they have to many players, ofcourse ill go allied. on axis its always easy to get a kill. Allied is sometimes difficult to just get out of the trenches. its still fun to break a hole in the axis defense so you allied buddies can rush.

I prefer allie, i like a challenge, too many people in war room on axis and everyone is rushing for the same thing, and on upper base its absolute hell.. so i prefer allie..i usually dont get my ass kicked too hard going to the basement, unless of course cowgomoo goombas me:eek: haha Allie is my choice:beer:

both are a hoot, but the allies get to steal the objective and that makes it a little more entertaining.

When i don't feel like really playing i go axis (easy) but if i feel like i'm going to win this i go allie (off course sometimes you got no choice
