Just came in to post this as well. Omega's certainly turned these out fast!
I've noticed though that ATI has included a new tab in the custom D3D/openGL for shader effects. Most of them are kind of useless, but I recommend that anyone try the "Inverse Colors" effect and fly around for a bit on a map like El Alamein for a very surreal experience.

I've been using omega drivers for a long time now. I use omega because it allows me to easily overclock my card, instead of having to find a new bios and install it. this is much faster

i dont use the omega drivers...never have noticed much difference.
my FRAPS results are maybe a little higher but not significantly....i think the clarity is better tho
of note is that all the SW maps run at maybe half the FPS of the original maps....is that the same for anyone else?
I have not failed...I have just found 10,000 ways that don't work.
