Ive played on many different FF on servers you fool. there is no difference in my skill level because of it. Im good at either FF on or FF off it makes no difference to me. Im a little extra careful so that I dont actually shoot my teammates with my gun, but thats about it. I dont worry about my teammates killing me. if they do thats their fault.

However, a guy such as yourself who is dependent on pussy weapons like a panzer in a FF off server, is crippled on a ff on server because you will either kill a lot of teammates or will suck at other weapons.

I just looked at your accuracy and headshots. Its pathetic. You wouldnt stand a chance against me in a normal one on one with light weapons. Im more accurate and I have double your headshot accuracy:rotflmao: SO you just keep telling yourself whatever makes you feel better.

I don't want to be between this fight, but Ticks use sometimes the panzer ( try to make a headshot with that weapon), and he is a Master in knive ( all Hail to Tick). Try to kill somebody with a knive. Then try to make a 'headshot' with a knive

Ive fought him when he uses knives and he cant kill me. The only time he gets me is when he sneaks up from behind me. But yes I will say he is good at knives, although it is a pretty much useless skill to have.

And yes, it is useless skill, but if you can kill somebody with it ( and Ticks can!), you feel pretty owned.

I was there too...and I think FF worked fine for that round. There was very little TK'ing...in fact, it took me a good 5 mins before I even noticed it was on (I thought it was just one guy who changed his name to ^1Teammate ____). However...I dont think it would work regularly, in the 10 mins we experienced ff on...we were slaughtering the allies in the trenches. I think if the game was tighter...there would be so many noobs in the basement, killing their own teammates accidentally with flames, panzers, nade spams, etc. I'm not saying it would never work, as most players will learn and changed their strategies (or be kicked)...but because of the continual flow of noobs to the server, and the admins already having to worry about blockers...I think FF would not make the server more fun. Wait....isnt this topic supposed to be about the panzer limit? Oh well...

This isn't an arguement about who's better, or who's got more headshots than the next. In my mind it's just a further watering down of a server that used to kick ass and take no prisoners.

In an ideal world, panzer limits would be based on a percentage of players. A hard set 2-panzer limit sucks when you got 64-players running rampant.

A year ago one of the biggest joys on 24/7 Beach was the amount of sheer targets available and trying to actually waste 9 or 10 people with one shot. I used to get a shit-load of kills dropping from the ducts with a panzer and aiming at the mass of camping humanity at the stairs.

Well, no more I guess. Might as well play a game with just one weapon.

why was everyone yelling at me when zog just said basically the same thing as me. the server is too watered down. first lt charge time goes to zero, then 2 flamers per team, now two panzers for team. i just thinks its cool for like a no holds barred server with no limits on any gun. and you try putting people down for panzering, maybe some people dont want to be accurate with a gun maybe they want to be accurate with a panzer. and any kill takes skill. i think we should all tell our opinion on this subject because it affects the game greatly.

Watering down of a server? Don't be dissing a server in which you hardly play on. I think the server is better than it ever was. Whenever ECGN had no restrictions, everybody was complaining, and they finally had a solution to it, with the charge times, yada yada yada. Now, a little tuning to it is being done, and I don't see a problem at all. I love not having the panzer on the server. Here are my reasons

#1. If a noob gets a panzer, it's completely ineffective, and that leaves only one other panzer. So that's good b/c you don't get vaped in trenches every spawn.

#2. ECGN is a server full of players who have just gotten the game or are not very skilled at it. People should be able to kill them with their gun, and not think they are uber super 1337 when they get a massive 7-8 kill with the panzer. If you want to be a good panzer, try going to Locked Box, Narf, or a server where they actually hit u with two headshots before you can get your shot off. If you can get more than 3 kills, I'll pat u on the back. However, trying to use, "I can't help my team," because you can't massive spawn kill, is a pathetic excuse. It's a noob game, if your team loses, it's forgotten by the end of the round. So stop your whining, and accept the new changes.

#3. Allies now can get the docs, make somewhat decent runs with them. It is more unlikely to have a panzer in the radio room, now that there is only 2.

#4. Complain about the arch? Blah, just making it difficult to shoot, and disabling it from a noob's hands. If you want to have the effect a panz normally has in other servers, then go to other servers.

The panzer limit is for the better of the server. What you r trying to say, "Let it be the same bloodbath it used to be," is silly. I remember the days whenever ..I quote "We need more airstrikes" whenever you were getting launched across the map. I guess you forgot how irritating it was back then. Well, if they'd take out the restrictions, it would be the same story all over.

NOOBS will use the panzer no matter what dude. And BTW we were all noobs at one time, we need noobs to play so they get better. And after noobs get the panzering out of their systems they will realize there are other parts to the game and start doing other things. There will always be noobs, let them learn and dont get in there way.

I'm sorry, what point are you trying to disagree with? Us interferring with the noobs "vital" growing process was not mentioned anywhere in my earlier post. Please, don't bring random points up, backing nothing that i said earlier, or please, at least use the quote button. But, limiting the panzers will jus tmake the noobs have to use a gun...what does that hurt? And is this post about making noobs better? No, it's about making the gameplay more enjoyable for all.
