Weekend Results

Postby yaDad » Mon Oct 13, 2003 11:27 am

YaDad had a helluva weekend....went 6-7 on the parlays.....woohoooooo.

if i was betting(which i aint cause remember theres no wagering) at $10 a game i would be up $110 going into Monday night. HELLL YEAH!!!

of note are the @home underdogs...there were 5.
Redskins got their asses kicked...win for me
Jaguars got beat but not enuff points...loss
Cowbays won at home 1 point dog...gonna be tuff to bet against the first place Cowgirls any more...loss
Jets walked on the Bills who looked terrible...loss
Cards got beat and didnt cover but scored too many points....loss

so i sucked picking the @home dogs...oh well ...will remember that next w/e.

whats the pick for the monday night game...i think is a lock...
go with the Falcons to keep it closer that 11 in a low scoring game.

FALCONS -11 AND UNDER 45.5 LOCK
winner means im up $330 on the week...hell yeah baby!!!

Cowgirls are rockin....have hated them for a long time cause they were division rival of the Falcons.
i have bet against them every week i believe and they have snubbed me....will consider that from now on.

Sir Loin what you think @ tonights game....will the Coons be within 11? they gonna get beat im sure but i thinkl they will stay within a touch and fieldgoal. God please Vick get well ASAP and tote us to the playoffs.

the falcons are playing the rams......correct? I hate to say this, but the rams i think will destroy the falcons, who have some of the worst defense in the league. 11 is what you need, the rams will most certainly win by more than that.

The falcons should drop the fal from their name and just be cons.
"Well, we're not just gonna let you walk out of here."
"Who's we sucka!?"
"Smith and Wesson and me."

KC actually played up to their reputation for the first time this year. Still, I think the Broncos will beat them next time they meet, assuming they DON'T PUNT TO HALL!!!

I think the rumors of Reeves stepping down after this season are legit, either voluntarily or not.

I gotta tip my hat to the Tuna, the Boys look legit this year, as an NFL team that is.

Anyone got the Raiders finishing the season above .500?

Nope, Raidess is history... Team needs an overhaul, I bet Al Davis will get Mark Brunell after the season...

Colts look like the real deal, despite the (close) loss... however, I don't think they have the intestinal fortitude to get past the second round of the playoffs...

If Tennessee finds a consistent running game, watch out. McNair is the best QB in the league right now (421 yds on 18 completions?! )

Bucs are missing their departed or injured secondary players more than anticipated... and they seem to have trouble keeping the energy level sustained... IF they can keep up the intensity, though...

It's been difficult to get a read on just how good the Chiefs are this year. They've been bailed out by Hall in a couple close games. You really can't count on that down the stretch. Last game was impressive though. I agree with your prediction that Denver should beat them at home; assuming better coaching decisions ;) .
