The Karma’s many features and small size set a new standard for high-capacity players. Its 20GB drive can carry over 5,000 songs. Powerful tools include cross-fader, 5-band parametric equalizer, Ogg Vorbis and FLAC support, and a huge, backlit display capable of visualizations, animated menus, and 16 shades of gray. USB 2.0 provides fast transfers while the included docking station also adds drop-in charging, RCA Line-Out, and an Ethernet port for networking. Simple menus and intuitive controls make it easy to pick up and use. Helpful functions like auto-synchronization with Rio Music Manager, Rio DJ, and dynamic playlist generation make the Karma as effortless as you want it to be.

I would buy this, If Dell Canada didn't suck so much

They don't have this one, BUT they have plenty of $300 ones to spare

And to get a new stick of 512 DDR PC2100 ram it cost $300 (I didn't get it there, and I'm never buying a Dell again, especially with the terrible Dell Canada)

Let's see... 20GB .....do you have 5000 mp3s?

I have about 2300 mp3s, mostly 192kbps at 4-5 minute each and that takes up about 10GB of space.

I'm confused by this, I clicked on the first link, and it said nothing could be found by searching for the Rio Karma. Then I clicked the second link and it's just a $20 rebate. I guess what I'm trying to say is, I'm not seeing how this is worth only $50. I looked up a Rio Karma on bestbuy.com and it said it was $400, so, you can see that I'm slightly confused.

Buli.. I believe that was a mistake on Dell's part. I can't find the 20gb anywhere on their site.

Yeah, I'm getting the same thing. I almost freaked out when I thought they were selling a $400 MP3 player for $50. Seemed too good to be true...

Yeah, but Buli is one post closer to 3000, AND he started a new thread! :D

hehe sorry guys... seems DELL learned of their mistake and changed it.

I remember when Best Buy.com made a mistake on a digital camera. They meant to price it as $500 with a $100 mail in rebate. Once it hit the web, however, they forgot about the $500 and priced it as $100. Before they could catch the mistake, my friend snatched 2 of them. He paid $200 for both of them, and they arrived without delay. Nothing was done about it, but the correction was made almost an hour after he purchased them. :D

I just love stories such as these. :)

Hey man,

I offer you to spare money, here in Belgium I can have a 512MB DDR at 333 Mhz for about... 150USD...(if I take a good margin on it...
Please check the prices, what you're announcing is incredibly expensive

Greetings
