yes, you are right about that.
In movie 1 everything was new. They were talking about some thing called 'the matrix'. You saw new chases ( jumping over the roof), but they were still in the real world.
In part 2 you got more the feeling the film is too much SF.
It's a bit cool when you see hundreds of Smiths fighting against Neo, but ( except that woman) where are al the normal people in that fighting scene?
Highway-scene is cool too, but I don't believe anyone would drive on ( as you see in the movie), when some man jumps on your car, jumps on the other car, and jumps on a truck!
LoL, this way 'the Matrix' is almost not a secret anymore, when you see this happening.

Agree with everyone, the first one was not so obvious as it raised eyebrows on how we could be in the Matrix, it kept that myth flowing because it wasn't as obvious.
In the second, that whole feeling got washed away. When they were in Zion for me it felt like Star Wars because only Star Wars have buildings or structures and settings of that huge scale.
Well, I got my ticket for the 5:45 show at the local AMC (yes, us Canucks has had AMC theatres for 2 years now hehe). It's still relatively new so the theatre's cleaner, plus the arm rests rises up for uh, "close encounters" hehehehehe

I'm going to see it on one of those big IMAX screens. Those are bloody HUGE, can't wait to see an action film on someting so big!!!!
