Bootage Problems

Postby Fruityballz » Thu Jan 16, 2003 11:06 pm

Well once again and i'm not sure i'm the only one or the first time this has ever happend but I decided instead of skipping the message I would read it (smart) but anyway..server booted said " Lost reliable commands " whatever that means, all I was doing was typing .. how it would lose any commands by that is beyond me but perhaps someone can shed some light on the subject.. theirs other errors but I don't remember them all.

dude, this is wolf we are talking about. ive seen things from

'out of sync'
to
'unpure client'
to
'client_unknow_to_auth'

if it only happes every so often, dont worry, we can live with it, but if its very often, u might need some help with it.

well at least you answered COW.. and it more or less varies.. hmm at first I used to play carefree constantly without problems or boot besides , server disconnects..and that was rare now its this or that this and that blah blah for whichever reason which is unknown.. you make it sound like its Wolf so I should expect it to be faulty lol I guess I will now then and keep it at that.

Do you have the standard version of Wolfenstein or the GOTY Edition?
The reason I ask is that I have GOTY, and my brother has the standard edition...

Now, I get all sorts of problems with mine connecting to servers and playing on punkbuster enabled sites etc.
While he doesn't seem to have any problems whatsoever.

Apart from GOTY having additional maps, just wondering if there are any other differences between the two versions?

Best regards,
Giggles.

P.S. FruityBallz, I get all the error messages you and Cowgomoo have listed, plus another one "Invalid_Cd Key", which is a bit silly as I did buy the game.

I believe u get this messages because someone with your cd key is playing on that server. Now there are lots of ways that people can get ur cd key most of them are key generators. Its a long shot but it could happen.
