Hey, it's they're way of life, it doesn't make them stupid. I'm sure people in India think americans are stupid for eating beef, after all, it comes from a sacred animal doesn't it?

Most western countries were like that a mere two centuries ago. Eventually, human rights will be recongnized world-wide. Hopefully, in some countries they will not throw everything away and keep some remnants of moral values.

well youre talking about a country that has had many public and well documented visions of the Virgin Mary. and i dont mean 1 or 2 peeps, im talking about a few 1000 at the same time either in the 60's or 70's. one of thr largest population of christians in the middle east. here check out the link boys and girls and learn something new:

Religion and/or politics play a different role in wealthy countries vs poor ones, IMO. In a place where you have nothing, religion and politics become everything. Both are free to have (as in costs nothing) and can be looked upon as the ultimate force in a person's destiny.
