Off topic, but don't go too far overboard - after all, we are watching...heh.

Yes, the reports you’ve been hearing are sadly true. Last Wednesday, November 12th, the 27 year-old television star, Jonathan Brandis committed suicide by hanging himself, and friends discovered him. There was no suicide note.

That is so sad.
I enjoyed his performance on Sea Quest.
He'll be missed.

Seaquest was a television series on NBC some years ago that was on for about 3 seasons, I think. Roy Sheider (sp?) was the captain of this submersible in like 2029 or something. Basically, the Seaquest was this new design of submersibles that was like a warship/science vessel. It was a quality show. Kind of went a little downhill, though, after Roy left.

I remember the two new women for the second season, they were hot... yeah, when Roy left and 3rd season had that new captain, show sucked. Even Mark "Skywalker" Hamill guest starred on Seaquest for a few episodes.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. They had Darwin, a psychic dolphin. He was bitchin'.

I remember him pre-SeaQuest when he did that ninja movie with Chuck Norris.
...man...I'm a dork.
Anyway, I'm shocked to hear that...especially since there dont seem to be any obvious cases of dysfunction (though I'm sure there definitely was underlying dysfunction).
Former teen-heartthrobs indeed have a tough hand in life....its unfortunate how that kind of business eventually affects them. I geniunely feel sorry for them.... they have no proper educational development of sense of self. They are walking corporations until their role is up, then they are cast aside to fend for themselves with no real life-tools. Its a terrible business.
