I played MP games forever, starting with.. Doom. Everyone would ALLWAYS have some kick-ass killer name like, BlOoD-tHirSTy, avengerx, I-will-rip-off-your-head-and-piss-down-your-neck, you know the names. Well I have allways been TEGaID, standing for a saying from Enders Game.
One day after everyone in the game had a killer brute name, I thought of Tender-Vittles, just in spite. Sucks being slaughtered by "Tender-Vittles".

Interesting thread, I've wondered how many of you came up your names. Mine isn't really anything that creative. I was sitting in front of a computer one day with a friend looking over my shoulder and had to come up with a handle for some site that I was registering at. He suggested Burningwick which is just a mod of my last name (Wick). The name has always made me think of a venereal disease but I like it anyway.

Well, I started in RTCW as Major Koenig, from "Enemy At The Gates." Used that name in MOH as well. I mainly play axis and use the Sniper rifle, which is the connection for that name. Started playing BF1942 and as an homage to G.I. Joe I used StormShadow, then my friend started calling me Major Storm (the name I currently use in SOF2, and any other non-WWII sim). To add a little realism to the game I wanted to use a Nazi rank, so I changed my name to Sturmbannführer Storm, which is the SS rank equivalent to Major and translated it means "Storm Command Leader" well that name proved to difficult for my friends to spell when they wanted to add me to thier buddy list in ASE, so I used the abreviation for the rank which is Stubaf. So now I'm Stubaf Storm.
P.S. I forgot to mention, I'll admit it I like to beat off.

Everyone I played Unreal Tourney with was picking these dramatic names like anihilator or nemisys or whatever, so i decided to pick the stupidest name I could think of, to sort of mock them without mocking them. So I picked Mr. Gun..
And here I am, still Mr. Gunnin' around.

The best names always are movie references, the more obscure the better.... someone sees your name is like, WTF?
I also go by Paragon_of_Stupitude... judging by the stats site a few of you might have seen that name... its a Ren & Stimpy reference.... "You eeeediot!"

My friends call my Big Jolly Swede because I'm Swedish.. (and jolly I guess). Well I'm a big kid too. Bench 275 weigh around 230. So that's the Big part. And Nazi fits RTCW. So that's the name's history....

Keek (geek) anoo (soft 'ooo'ing' sound babies make. I used to play with tuf guys with names like 'Satan' 'killer of a 1,000 with a glance' ...that kind of thing. Been playing since the Doom days. Lot of Quake--that's where this name started. Took a lot of flak when I first started out (everyone in those days was a tuf guy), but after 'keekanoo' got top world in super nail gun, people started copying the name. lol...go figure. Seems these days anyone with a tuf guy name is pretty much a noob. To be pushed whilst panzering at spawn doors--my personal favourite pass-time.
