ok bud here it goes I have a BA in graphics design, the field is loaded with people, u have to be a really good illutrator to even think about getting a good job. The best thing to do is go for business, and when you get out sale something , and then become a mart. manager and then go from there thats what i did, finally my 70,000 in loans are paid off, and I'm a District Marketing Manager , in the high 100's

PS the average salary of a G.D. is about 27,000 your choice

I agree with 44444. I too have an undergraduate degree in Commercial Art/Graphic Design. I somewhat talented compared to the average person, but you need to be REALLY talented to suceed in Graphic Design. I don't think you will ever make a lot of money unless you are talented and start your own business.

I decided to go back to school and get my Masters Degree in another field (Landscape Architecture). That did increase my salary, but I will probably never make over 70k in landscape archtitecture.

I'd like to make a suggestion. I have recently read a book called "The One Minute Millionaire". This book has changed my life. I don't say this to brag, but I intend to be financailly indepent in the next few years. This book will teach you to look at different ways to making money. I have been taking mulit-millionaires out to lunch for the past two months. It is an awesome experience! At one of these lunches, it was suggested to me to read another book, "Rich Dad, Poor Dad". I then read this book and have gained a much better understanding of finance and weatlh. Read BOTH these books. They are not expensive. I bought both on Ebay for about $10 - $12 each. I STRONGLY recommend these books for anyone that wants to change their life.

Just my 2 cents and good luck!:)

lol tru but not, being in the right place at the right time helped, and also being in the top 10 in the country in sales my first season helped (learned from being in the business 10 years) ...surrounded yourself with good people equals success in any business, but yes management rulez, get to train and pass on my experience of people saying yes.......lol good but its all true what u said, u the man, is that how you got where you are today lol ;)
