Your favorite cartoon!

Postby MoDyna » Mon Dec 22, 2003 2:58 pm

The distress over the BOTR in the forums got me thinking we need to have a group hug, maybe sit through the last hour of ROTK several times until we are in touch with our inner female selves or something. I'm often clipping cartoons out of the newspaper and saving them. I have a long wall from my bedroom to the bathroom (a well beaten path at my age, but that is another story) that I have many of the best hung on the wall so I have to see them everyday just to remind myself to keep my sense of humor. I suffer from clinical depression and to avoid having to use drugs I use alot of tricks like the above to keep some sense of balance.

Anyway I thought I would share of few of them with you all. The first one is for Hellacious, thanks "darrrrrrrrrlin" (That's a texas thang guy's, Hellacious will understand) for picking me on your team.
I carry twenty-three great wounds all got in battle. Seventy-five men have I killed with my own hands in battle. I scatter, I burn my enemies' tents. I take away their flocks and herds. The Turks pay me a golden treasure, yet I am poor! Because *I* am a river to my people!

With the recent thread in the "Smoking Room" about the war, etc and the sometimes harsh verbiage on the matter, I thought I would let ya'll know how I feel pretty much on the matter:P

For all you married folks, or maybe just thinking about it.
Sorry for the quality of some of these, I've had them for a while and Photoshop 7 is just too tough. IrfanView did not seem to have much effect. Anyway!

When I lived in Oregon I was able to get this cartoon from the San Francisco Chronicle. She is just a gas. Her website is still under construction or I would have a better print for you. The writing on the refrigerator say's: "The Temple of Doom". How can you not love a gal with that kinda of sense of humor.
