I'm spending New Years on a Native American Reservation, the Pequot tribe in Connecticut... gambling at their casino!
My girlfriend is on her way to New York City right now, however. Too crowded for me, though.

I agree with Murgatroyd...that whole Times Square thing would drive me nuts. I'm a little too claustrophobic for that many people in such a relatively small space.Originally posted by buliwyf

I lived in NJ for 22 years and I never went to times square for that. too much of a bumblef*ck

As for me, I got family dinner first, then going to church to tend to my youth group, then around 10-11pm heading to see some party type folks and party like it's 1999! Oh wait, I already did that, so uhh, party like it's 2004!

I prefer Foxwoods also but havent been to Mohegan since it opened. Four couples in a minivan gettin outta dodge. Hitting both places tonight isnt out of the question with this group. I'm in Boston now and the tourists are everywhere:mad:

Yeah, luckily I live in Worcester, so no tourists here, somehow a burnt-out industrial city isn't too popular. Foxwoods is a skip and a jump from Mohegan, you don't even have to get back on 84 I think.

Heh, I'm just about to land a job in one of those casinos. Still haven't decided which one I want to go to. Foxwoods has some pretty good benefit packages but Mohegan has some really nice restaurants.
