Now, now - let's not beat up poor Musashi.

I'm sure he doesn't want us to plan a big get-together and then just sit around a hotel room drinking cheap beer and watching pr0n or something all day. (which we obviously wouldn't do, since we're all so sophisticated and stuff)

I'll state that I'm definitely interested. However, being the poor college student that I am, it would work out best for me if it was within driving distance. Time is a factor as well, but I guess we can discuss that once enough interest springs up.

I have been interested in this since we first talked about it almost a year ago. Biggest problem for me is timing, and fundage. If I have enough time to save up fundage and the timing doesn't land in July (I have my kids all month), then I am all for getting together for a weekend. All I ask is that special consideration is given to make sure I can get about wherever we meet up at.

I think that something like paintball or lasertag (or perhaps something like bowling too) would be a great idea.

I'd prefer paintball though. Then maybe a huge dinner or something.

On the contrary, cheap beer, porn and a bunch of strangers, Sign me up!

I said it was a bad idea because it would be substantially hard to plan and organize, you don't know if anyone is even gonna show up, I can guarentee you all right now that if 100 people sign up you'd be lucky if 20 showed up. Someone mentioned in the other thread the BOTRs which is perfect example.

Not to mention all the pshcyotic killers that might show up. This site does revolve around games where people kill stuff all day especially those Wolfenstein players. Hell this might all be some sick plan to add to Buliwyf's skull collection. :lol:

Just seems like this is a dream. And I love to shit on people's dreams.

I'm down if it's in Vegas or something. I can take my wife, have fun meeting all my in game friends, and still hit the blackjack tables and have a generally kick ass summer (or whenever) vacation.

I voted maybe, but I am more interested thatn just "maybe".

If we do plan for the LAN thing then I needum advice on how to get my PC out there. I am not exactly too keen on trying to fly my PC out as luggage if you know what I mean...

While this does sound fun, money is going to be very tight for me for the foreseeable future, and time is an issue as well... I wouldn't mind going to the DC area to see some sights and hang out and stuff, but vacations just can't make my list of priorities right now...

It is always possible that things may change in the next few months, but the odds are against it...

Short answer: I like the idea, but most likely won't be able to make it
