Well, what I've been doing is putting 1 new map in rotation with beach, once per week to see which maps work well for people or not. Seems like Ice is working out OK for people, so it may become permanent. Tram didn't seem to fare as well.
Anyway. feedback is good so keep it coming. You probably won't be seeing any custom maps put in as people can't seem to figure out how to download a map on their own.

Ice is ok but I prefer 24/7 beach. If I feel like a change I just go to another server. As long as we are trying rotations though I would prefer Chateau. I find any map with snow way to hard on the eyes.

Turn down your gamma and intensity, they didn't make those cvars so that mappers would make ideal lighting conditions for each individual player.

I certainly agree with you Comtech - I hope we can give chateau a try.
I remember when it was tried a loooong time ago - it was very succesful and I had a blast - so I hope it gets a chance

my only gripe with ice is max lifes. they are the same as beach even tho offence/defence sides have changed. allies on d should have the axis max lifes from beach and visa versa.. right now axis have much less lives, even tho they are attacking.. and tend to skull out very early in the game

ice don't work that great. I was on the server last night when it switched to Ice and half the ppl got kicked.. server overflow
