it looks like wolf and et are dying, no one posts anymore in rtcw thread, bf1942 posts threads like what did you have for dinner tonight ect..........stupid but still, for an arcade'ish style cheezy game they are keeping thier forum alive why????

PS ice map is good, but it seems I'm having connection issues all the time, and why is that, starts then kicks me everytime, wish the map change thread never started

wolf is dying but i see a whole bunch of E.T. players. but ya wolf is dying, when people see the graphics alone of E.T. compared to wolf, that is enough to make them drop that wolf junk.

'Wolf is dying'....lol. Seems to me an awful lot of people tried e.t. and came back to Wolf. Mind you, with the new server map rotations, between glitches and people only wanting to play Beach, ecgn's Beach is going down the tubes.

When it stays Beach people kavetch about how boring it is.... to 50 other players.

Seems to me...all games die, get over it. Of course wolf is dying its friggen old, graphics arent top notch, and people are finding newer games with a bigger population. This time next year the only people on wolf will be people who fear change and just love the game to death. Thats my opinion.

youre wrong. i have the game and i played online but it did not assimiltated me. some people prefer faster games.
i do enjoyed the times i played it but got bored of it fast.

try out et and you will be assimilated by us. fast download of custom maps. everyday another map!!! servers constantly full.

do you need anything more.

I played wolf back in the day when it first came out, what, like 3 years ago?

Its not that people fear change.... Personally, a good game doesn't have everything to do with the graphics it displays....Wolf is a good game. When it first came out as a 3D version with those awesomely pixelated graphics (ohhh I remember my old 486), it was an instant classic. Not only does it reflect major historical significance in its plot setting, but it incorporates a lot of awesome elements that make it such a cool game.

Result: People enjoyed it and continue to enjoy it. It just comes down to what you're interested in. Those that love wolf love it because its a classic that opened the door for a lot of other war-based first-person shooter games. I realize there were other types of those games at the time, but wolf had IMPACT. Its practically an original.

Wolf rocks...especially when its played on beach. Ahem.

lol, et's not that much better graphics than rtcw. CoD however, blows both out of the way. Wolf's not junk...wolf was way more popular competively than et will ever be. ET is just for pubbers...for one reason...IT IS FREE...Wolf was actually fun because there was a lot of competition back in the day....ET, it has some...but...it never did, nor will stack up to RtCW.

BF42 forums are alive because we get to know each other while were playing, i.e. its more of a community then a fly by night fling forum for a game.

Wolf/ET is what most console FPS'ers are: simple and easy to play. How you think BF is like that is beyond me. If you do not like the game, fine, you are allowed to nto like it. But to call it cheezy and console-like? Come on...........

This used to be a good community, until changes started to occur, which drove out many of the regulars. I still think this map rotation is not a good idea.

Some people like something a little more than run and gun thats all. Some battles on BF are really slow and boring yes... but that is overshadowed by those tense battles where you win or lose by 10 tickets. Those make the game worth playing
