I have a sony lcd sdm-s71, never had any problems with it at all, now all of a sudden I am having my mouse kinda get stuck and skip across the screen, sorta like when your mouse ball needs clean. I've played wolf on this screen since I got it in January of 2003, started to happen about a month ago, so in game my mouse doesn't respond fast enuff, getting stuck ect....I updated drivers for my lazer, with cord mouse as well as my lcd screen, by the way i have like 5 mouse(s) and it seems to be that way on all of them, ball and lazer, any suggestions, because it used to work sweet!!!!!

HELP!!!!!

I have the SDM - HS 73, I experienced a similar problem.
What I did to fix it was put it at the suggested (native) monitor resolution and refresh rate, which is I believe 1280 by 1024 (something rather large) and 65 or 75 mhz refresh rate. While in games that shrunk the resolution the screen tended to flicker randomly and do odd things that I don't remember, then I started to window games. I know ET allows you to play windowed, which helped a lot with fps and overall clean flow of the graphics.
As far as mouse, I use the IE Explorer Wireless, it has lotsa buttons that all don't work in RtcW but do in all my other games, odd. It's at the default refresh rate.

Is the problem occuring in windows as well? What kind of graphics card/mobo agp speed do you have? If it isn't an agp card ignore the mobo agp speed part.

I won't be able to read your response until later tonight due to rush week.
