yes i understand what you are saying. but it doesn't help. i've used pbsetup in conjunction with pbsvc for years and that was the first thing i did after installing rtcw. it does not work.

liquidswords is right...we already discussed pbsvc a few posts up and verified that it does not work for RTCW and Win7 64bit...

i am now able to play on ecgn without getting kicked. why? i have no clue. i have not changed anything and my pb has not been updated.

LOL...weird...don't close the game!..Just keep it minimized!

Seriously though, I don't think there necessarily needs to be a client/server upgrade...the client automatically grabs some kind of 'master security info' from evenbalance when running. Maybe they changed something with that.

No changes...decided to fire it up since I saw your post...and all was well.

Game is almost nauseating on this new monitor....it's effing huge!

If I get a new computer with Windows 7, will it work fine with RTCW?

I am thinking that most modern integrated graphics can handle RTCW fine. Right?

I want to play RTCW again very badly lol.

So when you have windows7 you only have to update PB?

with wolf minimized and without a firewall on?

Or did it 'just work' like liquid was saying.
