Best PCI slot video card...
I know that AGP blows the socks off of PCI slot video cards, but my friend got stuck with a board that has no AGP, and buying a new computer is out of the question for him. So I started to do some research into PCI slot video cards, and http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=14-143-011&depa=0 was the best that I could find. Am I right or are there more out there that I'm just not finding? Thanks.

PowerColor RADEON 9200™ PCI 256MB DDR (R92P-D3L)
it has 256 MB of ram (which is a complete waste) but the next best thing would be the 9200se, which is a lot slower.

Although I've been using ATI for a while now, I think the budget nVidia cards are better than ATI in the same price range.
$120 seems like a lot for a video card to put in an older pc with no agp. If it's worth anything to you, my son plays BFV with a gf3 ti200.

for PCI 256 isn't a waste I think. Because it can't access textures directly from system memory so it has to load them all at once so you might end up using over 128MB, wouldn't you?Originally posted by shockwave203
