Wash [as Stegosaurus]: Yes. Yes. This is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it… "This Land."
Wash [as Allosaurus]: I think we should call it "your grave"!
Wash [as Stegosaurus]: Ahh! Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!
Wash [as Allosaurus]: Har har har! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die!
[The Allosaurus attacks the Stegosaurus.]
Wash [as Stegosaurus]: Ohhh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

What's wrong with an afterburner? They might want to consider aiming the exaust out the back though....

Re: 2008 Ford Super Duty
Most likely from the fuel air mixture being too rich (more fuel than needed) this could be from many causes. Computer issue, injector stuck open, fuel pressure too high, etc. The unburned fuel travels in the exhaust hot enough to burn but without enough oxygen until it gets to the end where the oxygen mixes with the hot fuel providing the missing link and the fire erupts.

Re: 2008 Ford Super Duty
Ldsmith is on the right track with the injectors.
This is an all new engine with new emission reducing equipment. There is a filter called a diesel particulate filter, (DPF) where fuel is periodically injected directly into the DPF to burn up accumulated carbon.
The "blowtorch" effect is supposedly attributed to an injector issue that is allowing too much fuel into the filter, and in the process, raising exhaust temps to the point of combustion.
