Uhh.

ME is no longer supported, as it was buggier than Windows 98 and 95. XP is MUCH more stable than ME ever could have been. If you don't have catastrophic problems with ME, that would be a first.

well those pics arent from the Longhorn Transformation pack, they are from the actual beta....

and i doubt you'll ever see anything for any win9x/ME as far as visual themes go...

havent installed the transformation pack yet either, im crital of harddrive space right now. only ~2 gigs left. anyone hook it up?

I don't know it they are still planning it, but at one point M$ was cooperating with media distributors and MB/CPU makers to build in a hardware/software solution to digital rights management.
No more CD ripping, no more swapping, no more anything. Also, at the time they were pushing the concept of micropayments as well, so you can imagine the nightmare the whole thing would be if it ever came to fruition.
CD would probably only cost $5, but then it would cost 10 cents everytime you wanted to listen to a song.
It sounds silly, but remember these are some the same a**holes that tried to push DIVX (the video player/rental scheme, not the codec)
