"Bloomington, MN - Sci-fi pundit Marc Eisenburg, 38 of Apple Valley, Minnesota, was dealt harsh criticism by members of the Star Trek fan community yesterday when he presented his controversial paper A Star Destroyer Could Beat the Enterprise E to a packed crowd in convention room 102 at the Bloomington Radisson during the annual Star Trek convention."

pfft, EVERYONE knows that the Enterprise E would kick a star destroyer's butt, with all of it's type X phaser arrays, photon and quantum torpedos, not to mention abblative hull armor like the Defiant has

You mean the Enterprise E? lol

It's more agile, smaller profile (remember, a Star Destroyer is 1KM long!), and it can pick off the Star Destroyer's fighters like a turkey shoot.

I don't know...Enterprise isn't really set up to handle hundreds of small targets, such as TIE Fighters and Bombers...could be more in the SD's favor

You're forgetting how fast the Enterprise can fire and that the Enterprise's fire control is computer controlled. An SD's guns are mostly manned by human gunners.
