Unfairly Banned

I was playing on a map with a Wespe. One of the admins was driving it, and I hopped into the gunner position. The rules clearly read that you are not allowed to drive while somebody is shooting, not hop into the gunner position, especially when you are requesting a pick up. This happened on Saturday evening, probably early Sunday morning. ECGNetwork is my favorite server and I am not asking for punishment of the admin, but I am asking that the ban be lifted.

ummm...A hijack is a hijack stay out of the arty when someone else is in it.

I was the one that KICKED you for that... there is no reason to get into the wespe on Tobruk for a pickup, as that thing shouldn't be going very far...

I don't think I was the one that banned you after you came back and started mouthing off to everyone about admins power-tripping... but I don't remember... I do remember that I said to read the rules, and the rules clearly state you aren't allowed to get into it unless ok'd by who had it first, which I didn't...

Oh, and this thread is in the wrong forum, please move to whines and complaints...

Anyway, you'll not get banned for that, it's a minor offense unless repeated too often. Accusing admins of power-tripping is different though. This is not your server, don't argue with the admins.

Man are you selective on your reading of the rules.

Moving or jumping in another players Artillery piece will most likely result in an ADMIN kick.

mobile artillery should be one-man vehicles. Why on earth DICE put two seats in them defies understanding. On ECGN servers, they are considered single-seaters.

One more reason to be on Teamspeak. Had you hopped into the gunner position and mentioned over TS that you were just looking for a lift, and NOT trying to hijack, I don't think anyone would've complained. I've done this before, and since the person whose arty I'm jumping into knows ahead of time that I'm not hijacking, there's no problem.

I am probably presuming too much to expect my pm's to be answered. Is this correct?

You are now unbanned. Please read server rules again to be sure, as well as hopping on Teamspeak. If you don't have a mic that is fine, most ppl just listen etc. Admins are always on Teamspeak.
