- Keekanoo
Keekanoo comes from an ancient dialect of Gaelic. Difficult to spell, but the original would have sounded like 'K'hahhk-hhucc-nhew'. It had several meanings, depending on application. It would be used for someone with exceedingly rancid breath (a not uncommon event in those days when fresh-water was found just a few feet upstream from the latrine area). It could also be used when denying a gift from someone, say leather boots, that had been worn by someone suffering a horrible infection like gangrene or grout.
Not to imply that it was always smell-related. If a warrior, after making a successful raid upon an enemy village for plunder of the feminine persuasion, had managed to secure the attentions of the ugliest, most foul of that tribe, his mates would gather and point at him as he lurched back into camp yelling, 'K'hahhk-hhucc-nhew! K'hahhk-hhucc-nhew!'
As I'm Welsh, and have notrocious halliotosus, AND have made a variety of ....modern raids like the above... I felt that 'Keekanoo' was well deserved. Sadly, I suffer no malignancies of flesh to really round it out.
Keek.

I was attacked by a parrot as a child and the memory of his talons and beak tearing into my flesh haunts my every waking momment. Plus there is something about parrot's that I find imposing, they just strike terror into the hearts of the wicked.
Actually this is bollocks, I pulled the name, metaphorically speaking, out of a hat because I wanted a name that no one wanted to copy and savageparrot seemed to fit the bill.

Sirens (or Seirenes) in Greek mythology were, in the most basic form, women who used song to allure, then lead men to their deaths. There's more to the story, including different body forms to suit what funtion needed to be fulfilled (they were sometimes transformed into half birds to help the king find lost family members).
A Siren can also be known as a loud signal or warning.

back when playin' perfect dark i was child sex. but when my friend pete got Halo i decided it was time for a change. I wanted something semi-generic and 100% cheesy, so Destructor it was. A year or so later i was watching futurama and they were having some robot wrestling tournament and the best robot there (the returning champ) was named Destructor too, it gave me a warm, fuzzy feeling inside

If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit.

I´m boring soooo much... and I was asking about the meaning of some nicks´, or just from where that names come.
Also, some players ask to me what my name means or (how random) which one is that location.
My nick, figojudas comes from a soccer player. I´m a Football Club Barcelona´s supporter and that player, Luis Figo, played in 4 years ago. He was (no is) a great player but for money (10 thousand millions of pesetas = 60 millions of dollars) he gone to the eternal rival team, the Real Madrid. Since that Figo was considered as a traitor (how Judas Iscariote) Figo=Judas => FigoJudas
Also, for that my location, if someone pay me 10 thousand millions of pesetas I go to live where you want.
My pic is when figo gone to Madrid with his white t-shirt.
And you don´t know how much I enjoyed he went to Real Madird

My nick comes from an character of Issac Asimov´s novels I have always enjoyed to read.
PL_M@ster is only my initials added to M@ster (even if i'm not a wolf master). I also use 2 other names (rarely though). They are Cereal_Bob and Robert_Cereal. I took them from a French animed show, Cosmic Cowboys. Robert Cereal,a pink rabbit, was the bad guy. He was also called Cereal Bob. He's the crazy rabbit on my pic.
