Legolas/Will Turner to be next James Bond?

Dear gawd, to attract younger fans? For the love of all that is good and holy, they're gonna nerf Bond and he'll be known as James Bond Jr.!!
As much as I like Orlando, he cannot and must not be the next James Bond!

I blame this on all of the teenyboppers who screamed at the theater whenever this guy showed up on screen during the LOTR films. It's all their fault!
Seriously though I find this very hard to believe unless they're possibly going back in time with Bond's character. Or maybe it won't be until 10 years before the next Bond film gets filmed?

How can you go back in time with James Bond? He's been the same age for the past 40 years.

Well try to come up with a better explanation besides "increasing female interest" for the Orlando Bloom decision.

When I said "go back in time" I mean something along the lines as the character's early years possibly before he becomes a fullblown secret agent. (think of how Jack Ryan's character was handled with the Tom Clancy series) Yes it still sounds silly but not as silly as Orlando Bloom playing a secret agent in his 40's when he isn't even 30 yet.

Maybe a movie on how he joined MI-6 and becamed the secret agent he is now? Just a half-assed idea of mine.
EDIT: Just thought of something. What about bringing back SPECTRE (Special Executive for counterintelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion) if it's possible? Although it's highly unlikely because of these reasons:
1. In the 1981 film "For Your Eyes Only" in the pre-titles sequence there is a man that looks exactly like Ernst Stavro Blofleld who controls a helicopter Bond is in after the pilot is electricuted. Bond eventually gets control of the helicopter, grabs the wheelchair he is in, and drops him to his death. Bye bye Blofeld. Oh well, at least Mr. Bigglesworth wasn't dumb enough to fall in a smokestack.

2. If Blofeld was brought back for some reason, Kevin McGlory who was the producer for the 1983 film "Never Say Never Again" now owns the rights to SPECTRE and Ernst Stavro Blofeld.
"This organisation does not tolerate failure."

Brownie points to whoever can name the first Bond movie that quote was said in.
