well...

Postby Rand0m » Fri Apr 02, 2004 10:18 am

Im just wondering if BF:V is going to be the next big thing, or is already the big thing. I haven't been on much so I don't know if all the 1942 regulars switched over or stayed with 1942. I havent played any computer games in a month or so with work and all, and I dont see the harm in picking up a new game if its worth it, to play when I have some free time. And going a month or a little longer with no games is making me go mad. Im sure there are other threads like this but I just wanna know a few things-

Is it worth the 30 bux?
Did most regulars switch over?
Is this the next big game, or already is?

1. Yes it is worth the 30 bux if your computer is decent.
2. So far not most regular switch over. I noticed that more people play BF 42 than BFV for now.
3. This will be the next big game as once patches come up or already is.

Then it would be no problem to run BFV.

One more question, you don't need 1942 installed to run BF:V right?

Nope. I think people have been playing equal amounts of each, I know I have. I think everyone is just waiting for a patch.

Nope. I play both of BF versions equally while waiting for a patch coming up.

I think BFV is definitely worth $30, but I still think I prefer 1942.

I haven't played either in a few days mostly because I'm waiting for a patch for BFV. I just hate being forced to spawn NVA because so many shitheads always go allied for the M60. I haven't really been playing reg BF because it kinda feels like I'm going back in time.

Played a lot of BFV when it came out, now playing more 1942. Will probably switch back when the patch is out.

I like BFV a lot but it needs a patch so I've been playing BF42, mainly because I like the strategy involved over the current M60 spamming that goes on in BFV. BFV is definetely worth the purchase.
