Desktops!

Off topic, but don't go too far overboard - after all, we are watching...heh.

Dakana had it right, its object desktop. It uses about 14000K memory. I unload it before I play just to free up the ram. No adverse effects that I can tell. Hellacious uses the same thing and she doesnt unload it before. She says it only effects her when she plays BFV, not BF42. We both have a gig of memory.

I got it off of TechTV's Screen Savers. They had 3 alternative shells for windows. I only tried this one and GEOshell and geoshell kept hanging every 30 seconds so I got rid of it.

Not sure why this is opened again. No sense in having 2 threads on the same exact subject. The other one has 9 pages, so I would suggest posting there.

As for this thread, I guess Jon wants it open, so so be it.. I just reccomend posting in the other one, and letting this one die.
