My Brother cannot get into server! wtf?

this server requires you to go to rtcwfiles and download and install some patch first if he didnt do that how does he get in or even see the server listed

I gave him the server name and ip address....thats all you need to be able to see it and log on.

i had the same problem that he's having. After playing a friends version of the game (my friend didn't play multiplayer) i decided it was time to get my own version. The first one i bought wouldn't play on ANY server do to cd-key problems. I took the game back and traded it in for the only other one they had, and it worked fine.

You need to download the 1.41V Patch, thats it. Btw, Trever...all servers require the patch, as it is an official release from Activision. HC did your friend get it working yet? If not IM with AIM or PM in ECGN and ill see if i can help you with it.
