I have had that problem b4, but usually it's only because I tried to d/l a file that wasn't top quality. Be sure to check the quality, size, bitrate, duration. Btw, kazaa lite k++ can be found on techtv.com and oldversion.com has a lot of old versions of programs. K++ allows you to turn your search limit to no limit, so you can search for an artist for as long as you want, which allows more results, usually taking about 15 minutes or so. I recommend searching an artist list to find all of the music you want, and may have forgotten about.
good program
doesent shred crappy files but its free of spyware, adds, all that shit

Yes thats the only thing I use Klight K++ and I love it. Your participation level is always 1000 so you get the high bandwith downloads.

Did you think about tearing out all the inner workings and replacing them with a banana? If so then I have no other ideas for how to get Kazaa of your computer...

why use kazaa for music? if you go to http://www.alvavista.com under the MP3/Audio search most of the time you can find the song you want on a webpage and easily listen to it other than downloading it from kazaa and getting a virus along with it that screws up your computer.

BITTORRENT <---- god i love bit torrent!
the best out of all the above! best for all the newest files!
http://bitconjurer.org/BitTorrent/ that is the official site but i would use a different app like azureus or like my friends do, use shareazza as it uses gnute1 and 2 and edonkey and overnet and bittorrent all in one program! i dont like it much but there is no spyware/adware http://www.sofotex.com/Shareazza-download_L11563.html for shareazza!
i do not condone illegal downloading! lol!
p.s i agree with savageparrot! i dont recommend limewire it took me ages to get rid of limeshop after i found out limewire blows as$!

Actually that is partially true, but the best way to remove it is to uninstall it and then run an anti-spyware program such as spybot ao that all of the spyware may be removed. I do use Kazaa light K++ but i still run Spybot regulary to ensure I don't get any problems. Here is the link to download spybot:Originally posted by Irish
From Tech News.
To fully remove Kazaa from a computer system. A complete reformat must be done.
Get those install disks out.
Spybot Download
Hope this helps some of you it is a great program!!

IMO kazza just sucks now! they just added and added more and more spyware/adware with every update! i was like why do i want to update there is barely anything fixed with each update and the spyware is all back!
kazza can be got rid of completely! but it is a task! you have to get adaware or spybot search and destroy and nuke it! then if you can uninstall it! then you have to go threw and manually delete every trace of all the different spyware/adware programs!
these include (there are more):
bde projector/briliant digital
cydoor
gator
and a whole load of:
my way
my bar
my search bar
my way search bar
my way e3
my way e2
i can go on! with each install or update i found i get a brandnew my search bar! which i kill but there are traces of it left all over the system along with temp files and alsorts! i do not recommend kazza to anyone!
kazza lite k++ appears to be down and almost certainly gone forever! i have many copies even the k++ resurection copies and none work for me! i believe sherman networks are banning ip's connecting threw k++ i havent got normal kazza so i might be banned from that! ohwell i dont like corrupt files anyway!:rotflmao:

Here's what you do to kill Kazaa:
1. Download and install the trial version of Spysweeper here: http://www.webroot.com/wb/products/spysweeper/index.php
Run the update (allowed once for trial) and then the scan.
2. Go here and scroll down to the bottom and get kazaabegone: http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html
Read the information BEFORE downloading. If you don't, you may end up without an internet connection.
3. On the same website, get CWShredder and run it.
4. You can in addition run Spybot S&D however the updates are not done often enough and like most antispyware, doesn't get everything.
5. As an additional check, go here and get Tauscan and run it: http://www.agnitum.com I use Outpost Firewall. I control every packet that goes in and out of my machine, including cookies, popups, ActiveX, VB scripts etc. and any other potential problems. With the Blockpost plugin (updates from here, also good info: http://bluetack.co.uk/index.php ) I'm able to stop problems before they start. Read up on Outpost and you'll know why it's so good.
If you insist on p2p filesharing, read about Protowall on the Bluetack website and also here: http://outpostfirewall.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10252&highlight=protowall
Another neat little utility is Winpatrol http://www.winpatrol.com
Hope this helps.

I'm not big into MP3's anymore, but everyone I know hwo is recommends WinMX. It's been around a long time, and people still favour it.
