Cigars? ive had a few in my time and just didnt "get it", although lots of friends love em, my experiance is limited at best.
you see i like my tobacco inhaled DEEP into the lungs where you get the FULL effect of its magical properties, but that was some time ago>exactly 1-24-04 to date ive only smoked 5 cigs in that time< do you ever really get over it?

While I don't smoke...
My company in Nashville is working on the new headquarters for CAO. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Cano A. Ozgener(pronounced John-O) the owner, and his son. Both really nice guys. (Of course it didn't hurt that they liked my plans)
They offered some cigars, but since I don't smoke, I wasn't interested. Their office is about 1/2 mile from mine.
Just thought you guys might like to know.
One more thing. If you go to their website: http://www.caocigars.com The older guy is Cano, younger bald guy (Tim) is his son and the girl is his Tim's wife. I forget her name.
Don't ask... I can't get no stinkin' cigars.. LOL

I tried the Sancho Panza double maduro ESCUDERO's today, and I must say they are very tasty indeed. I'll be getting a box of them with my next order.
I also tried a Cuesta Rey No. 7 for the first time today, and have to say they are one of the smoothest, creamiest cigars I've ever smoked. I highly recommend you try them. I have yet to try their other cigars, but I will be getting a Cuesta Rey tasters pack to try them out no doubt.
I love Cohibas and Don Tomas stogies. Of course Montecristos are good too...I prefer big Churchills myself...and have a small 100 cigar humidor at home.
What do you guys do to keep your humidors "humid"? I find that mine dries out very quickly and I have to keep filling up the humidor things very frequently with distilled water and humidor solution.

I've been lucky. Mine have been 65-75 RH the whole time. Just make sure that the sponge your using is the longer rectangle type. The round one's bite ass. You may want to "season" your box again. Take the stogies to a local shop and ask them to hold for a day or two and wipe down the interior with 50/50 solution. Soak the sponge, add a digital Hygrometer and open 24hrs later and add the smokes. May want to keep the box in a basement where its cooler. The box gets to warm you'll have problems also.
Last test if you have done the above is to take a flashlight and place in the box and go into a dark room. If you see light then you know you have loose seals and the box isn't tight. In hindsight. Do this test first before you go through the labor of above.
Tried a Montecristo White---Great Smoke
Had two Acid Atom's last night. Great tasting infused cigar.

Just using water is your problem. I had the same problem until I went to this stuff. Works like magic. Makes sure you stay humid. Wipe the inside of your box with a little of this and soak your sponge with it instead of water.
Should try and do a small cigar pass.
