As far as jumping the wall I've just altered the way I play a little when on Axis. I stay back and generally watch the wall and the forward bunker especially the forward bunker if Figojudas is on allies....

Won't find me on the wall Judas...lol...it's far too dangerous up there....lol....
I think it takes a lot of talent to be able to pull off the big jumps so IMHO they shouldn't be banned. I have trouble at times getting on the filing cabinet in the war room so I guess I'm safe from a ban in this area.....lmao.....

/+salute being used to make jumps that u cant make wihtout /+salute is no0b basically saying that what the command was designed for is no longer what it gets used for (and i have to trust the player to turn it off what a joke) 13 seconds time cut off wall jump or the added speed of the /+salute with lean up stairs. what i dont understand is why people want to end the match so fast its beach... it will reload in another 45 seconds without the incentive of a map change there is no reason to push for a quick ending i know id much rather skull the side. yes i know its stopwatch but after people play a quick match they all dc cause they dont want to attack with allies .last real issue on /salute this topic has been beatin to death. players who will go to osp servers then come to ecgn and leave /+salute on as a weapon and as a way to corner camp doors pushing anyone who attempts tp walk thru (good way to rack up them kills).or rushing war room leaving it on to ensure a path to docs instead of clearing the war room. 1337 status in my book

That´s my objective. Last 2 weeks the nights, I played a 6-10 players games, and when players as Hamburger 1, Dj5ha?@#$, -spud-, badboy, squish, beachlord... join as axis and use the panzer, they fuck the game...(2 days ago I played a 1vs1 and the other player used a panzerOriginally posted by ticks-&-leeches

Alright, I used to abuse the exploits of /+salute. But after getting kicked several times for using it (thx savant) and realizing that etiquette-wise, it's just not nice to your teammates or your enemies, I stopped. Sure, I could keep on using it and only play when admins aren't on, but I don't soley because it is disrespectful to others.
This is why I'm fascinated as to why killermik3 never gets kicked for this. Does he have keek by the balls? Now before you start thinking this is a personal attack, mik3, I'll tell you that it is. I mean not only could you probably beat most people on the server in a fair 1vs1 fight, you still use +salute to shove them off balance. Now I don't care if you want to jump the stupid wall using an exploit, but why wouldn't you want to fight on level ground, especially against us (downgraded) shrub players?
LOL, you defend shrub against osp'ers that rage noobs, when you probably spend more time with competitive osp then you do shrub. (i mean, we all know crypt is a loser, but with you being a pot, and he being a kettle, can't you just play nice?). Would your own osp community frown upon going and abusing shrub players that are just playing for fun, or is that the thing to do now? *cough...cough...gg militant*
afaik, You and figo are the only one's still abusing this, can you guys just turn it off after you get over the wall so you can 'pwn' us on fair terms?
ps sorry if i missed any other exploiters (reply to this msg and i'll follow up) and I don't h8 any of you, there that oughta shut aphid up.

Just I ´ve explained why I use it (to win fast). When there are more than 16 players I´m normally a sniper as allie.

This issue first came to my mind about 2 weeks ago when you, Figo, used the /+salute feature to jump the wall and run in the docs.
Yes, you did leave it on the complete time.
Yes, there were more than 20 players (around 36 if memory serves correct).
6 of us axis piled to the top of the radio-room stairs after hearing the docs get taken (about 30 seconds into the game). We all arrived there as you were charging up. I personally tried to stand in your way and get a few shots in when all of a sudden every axis around me was buffeted all over the place in the small confines. We pretty much grenaded/fausted/sten'd/mp-40'd each other to death as your 'bubbble' crashed through us.
I didn't raise the issue then as I wanted to think about it and spec people for awhile and get a sense of how it's affecting game performance.
wo0t.... there's only 2 people who have me by the cahoongas and neither is playing at this time. Ask Mike. I've kicked him several times

I'm still waiting for general consensus (and admin feedback) on this issue, but so far it looks like this: Using autopush to jump the wall, though cheap, is hard to do and should be allowed on the grounds that it takes a very skilled player to do it--just like in real war you get some very skilled fighters doing remarkable feets. (Frankly, a wall jump with team aid takes about an extra 5 seconds so big woop). 2nd, auto-salute has to be turned off AS SOON AS THE JUMP IS MADE. If you're l33t enuf to figure out how to jump the wall, be l33t enough to learn how to turn it off as soon as you reach the top.

What is the next issue? Jump the wall by east hill? Jump the wall by the breach? Use nades&revives to jump? It´S really sad read about this, when all the days I have to see players whinning about panzerwhores in few players games.

O sry Gambit i thought you were talking about the Breach. There may be a way to limit the effects of +salute while strafe jumping. It's been in issue in TWL Shrub but i believe it was fixed someone because in a long open area you can almost fly across the map using +salute and lean. Im not sure how to set the server to stop it though. Ill ask the person who runs our server if they know anything about it, shes gone for a week so ill respond when i see her.
