Actually, if you were an admin, you could see the player's client ID and be able to distinguish who is who via the unique client ID.
Yes but the player who is making the complaint can't so they just say ' wolfplayer is _insert offence here_' and the admin has to try and work out which one.

Haha, Wolfplayer - I learn of new complaints towards Keekanoo every time I visit these forums. You say he changes you name to things he finds amusing? Care to share with me what those are?
IMHO, Keekanoo does not sound like the responsible person an admin should be. If you like your name as Wolfplayer, you should by all means be able to keep it that way - why the heck should he care? If you want people to think you are a "noob" because of your name, that is your decision not his...
I'm going to warn you again - watch your step Jdawgg. Flaming of our admins is a sure way to be banned from every server.

It is not flaming, it was my opinion. In case you did not know, IMHO stands for In My Humble Opinion. If it were a flame, you'd know it. If you want to see flames, take a trip to http://www.happypenguinforum.com/board

Wow - is the language really necessary? I don't know about anybody else's opinion, but I have in no way been rude to you Evan. You can call this a flame if you'd like, but that last post was pretty rude. To me, it sounded like you did not know what IMHO meant, since you felt my comments about Keekanoo was a flame. FYI (For Your Information), it was not a flame. I think out of that whole post, only one sentence referred to Keekanoo, and again, that was my opinion based on my experience with him and what I have read about him. That's all.
If you took offense to it for some reason, I apologize. No offense was intended.

For the record... Wolfplayer is the default name given to everyone in the game. We get multiple wolfplayers in the game at the same time, one of them is tk'ing, blocking, etc, and we can't figure out which one it is. So ...what do we do? Allow this? Or... in the old days, warn them all to change their names then, after some time while the tk'ing, blocking, abusing goes on.. we eventuallly have to kick all the wolfplayer names remaining. I don't like things getting to that point where it irritates the hell out of 50 other players, so I rename them fairly quickly. Renaming is nicer than kicking and lets us target the culprit faster.
And for the record, when we search for 'wolfplayer' names with the admin bot, it doesn't show us color. Every name is reduced to white. So don't color and think you're being super sneaky. You'll get renamed or kicked.
If you want to hide out and not use your normal tag, I couldn't care less. Just don't contribute to admin hassles and then whine about it in here.
Keek.
