Actually the BBC is partly owned by the British government. In any case I'm sure this is all just a mis-understanding, and if Iran is smart they'll promply release the sailors. The PT boats will probably remain in Iranian hands indefinitely though.

Knowing the british military we probably borrowed them of the US anyway so I can't see us being too bothered about that.
