I found wireless to be very lame for gaming.
I got rid of my wireless mouse and keyboard. I had the high end logitech one, and the microsoft blue tooth keyboard.
The mouse just didn't respond the same as one with a cable, and it was obviously heavier with 2 batteries in it. With the keyboard, It was a chance of whether it would be able to respond to the keystrokes I did at any given time. Sometimes I'd hit keys to fast for it to respond to all of them, and I'd end up blowing myself up
Both had a slight "lag" to them. You especially notice it on the keyboard. When typing, you'll notice the keys showing up are about 2-3 strokes behind you at times.

1. no better mouse (wireless) than the MX700. period. rechargable Lith-Ion batty means you never run out mid game (so long as you remeber to throw it on the charger overnight while you sleep). As fast, if not faster, than any wired mouse. comfortable, lots of well placed buttons, very accurate DPI. Some of the best of ECGN'ers use this mouse, and have for awhile.
2. lag? with a wireless? blame M/$. logitech bulids great ones. I've gamed on their wireless keyboards before without any lag whatsoever.

Yeah, I'm one with the MX700 duel. Only problem with the mouse is that on startup, it will freeze up. I believe it's a problem with XP and Log's software. All it takes to fix is a restart.

Just FYI. All companies are in business to make a profit. Not just Microsoft. Pretty creative using the $ sign instead of an S though.
I tried 3 different keyboards. I still like wires better. Its not like I need to be able to game from my other room while lying down and stroking myself off.

Lol... I have tried the Logitech MX700 before and wasn't really happy with it.... I actually had the Keyboard and mouse duo. I just liek this because it was cheap and works very nicely with gaming and everything else.

I have to agree. I don't really see a need for a wireless keyboard unless you really want it. A mouse, I can see because nothing is more annoying than the wire getting cought on something while you are trying to escape from residue in his panzer.Originally posted by Heart Collector

To people that have a Logitech MX700:
I have heard that the paint comes off of it very easily. (Cheap paint job.) True?

BAH!! Logitech Blows! Have had a M$ Intellimouse Explorer @ since they came out and wouldnt have anything else. The first models ate batteries as fast as i shoot you Bullhead but the second generation(that i got @ a month ago) is much better on battery useage.

I have not failed...I have just found 10,000 ways that don't work.

This is true. I'm just waiting for better technology (and perhaps rechargable mice that use small flat batteries like used for your CMOS).
The weight, and very slight delay and lesser responsiveness were just not enough to make me want to keep it. So I went and bought a wired mouse again.
