Idi Amin. Ever hear of him?

Off topic, but don't go too far overboard - after all, we are watching...heh.

You mean the cannibal that ate his own people?

He's bad but he has a contemporary in Pol Pot. No reports of Pol eating his citizens but he did manage to kill an estimated 3,000,000 of his fellow citizens

it's a wonder Idi Amin wasn't assassinated or at least arrested and executed in 1979 when he fled to Saudi Arabia.
How do they just let this man live out the rest of his life peacefully?

Because Saudi Arabia is itself a dictatorship and doesn't care about human rights.

Dead on Chacal.

The House of Saud (that is who the country is named after) cares for nothing but Oil Revenue. The Wahhabi's have been running rampant in that country for almost a century and the ruling Saud family never did a thing about it.

Suddenly the rule of the Saud family is threatened and, more importantly the revenue from oil, and watch out! They are getting tough and actually gunning radicals down in the streets.

Its not a democracy, the ruling family numbers in the several thousands, and the entire country has been run for their benefit since the British established the country.
