Flamer: blabberings

Postby Namloot » Fri Jul 02, 2004 5:20 pm

I tried the flamer for the first time in a long time tonight. IMHO, it is worthless on the ally side and only marginally good on the axis. In both cases it causes way too many tks.

I like being a med with a flamer every now and then, its the only way you live long enough to use all 200 (rounds?)

You need more practice. A good flamer can clear rooms of enemys and hold back the enemy in tight areas. Even advancing.

i have been up against a stacked axis team with the war room full of em before...ill go flamer to ducts and get me a med behind me ....usually a buddy on ventrillo and the two of us will clear it out....that or holding off the rush of axis spawners coming down the short way is very effective for an allie flamer

ROFL, I just played a round as a flamer. Damn it was funny. That's a bad weapon but I still got a KR of 2.00(36kills-18deaths and 5 HS!) and I didnt tked or suicide.

Conclusion: the flamer sucks but you can use it an efficient way. It's a good weapon if you wanna fool around to make a change. And the flamer require a lot more skill than the panzer.

yea the flamer can be an effective weapon if you know how to use...but a flamer on the hands of a new player is the worst thing that could happen....
