When I looked at the pic I thought it was a little fishy too. How could the flaps operate in that postition? They would seem to serve no purpose...

I wouldnt put much stock in this plane. The cockpit has linear Seals... on the stealth bomber they're stiched like the bottom of Charlie browns shirt. Plus the movie magic fog on the head on shot when nothings lined up on the other catapult, fog machine. However all actresses have their own stealth planes to fly around when going from Hollywood party to Carrier. You could almost dismiss the camera except for the fact that its shooting film.

Sorry guys with the forward flaps spot but thats wrong. Its got Variable Geometry wings which means they can slide back and forth like the F14's.
Unlike the F14 though in that pic you are looking at they are in an all the way forward position. Almost like a stowed position. F14 wings go out to the sides and back. This one looks like they rotate 180 degrees

Yeah I found a picture thats either proves she is not a Navy Pilot or is gonna get her into a lot of trouble if she really is!
I put it on page 90 of the First Annual (Monthly) thread!

BAH! Bad wording there. You used the words "good" and "Air Force Pilot" in the same sentence. They never belong together.
Air FArce pilots don't fly off of carriers. Only real pilots (read US Navy and in a brief props to my bud DevilDog, USMC Pilots) have the skill and guts to fly off of carriers.
Air Force guys need 10,000' runways that they need the army to get and guard for them.
Navy and Marines steer their shortass runway to the conflict zone and kick ass from right there!
P.S. In obvious bias it should be pointed out that Colonel Ingus spent 6 years in the US Navy, wherein he learned what real military services were (USN USMC) and what were not (USAF) No real opinion on the USA, who the hell needed them? We had the Marine Corp.

Was too lazy to bother
You starting a "Firefox" mod, YaSmacker?
Actually, the shape of the thing reminds me of some artist conceptions of the old rumored "Aurora" spy plane, crossed with a YF-23 (the plane that lost out to the F-22)... supposedly, what they have now going on in the skunkworks is several generations ahead of whatever the aurora was going to be...
I remember when the F117 was announced to the public, how it had really been around for like 8 years already or something like that... spooky when you think about it
