Have you ever been to jail?

I certainly haven't, but was wondering if any of our fellow regs are convicts.

Please post why you went in the slammer and how long you stayed.

I did 18 months in the pen. I tracked down this guy who spammed some gaming forums I was a regular on years back. The police caught me with a tire iron threatening the guy for clogging the forums with useless posts after I busted out his car windows.

I was handcuffed to a bench at the station for like 2-3 hours.

Once in College. I lipped off to a cop at a party that was being busted up at our house. I told him there was no reason he needed to be inside our house as everyone had left. He threw me down face first into my sit down bar version of Mrs. Pacman. It shattered the glass. I was wearing no shirt or shoes at the time. This is exactly how they took me to jail. I was in a holding cell with like 10 other guys for about 4 hours. You can imagine the shit I had to put up with (again no shirt or shoes) from the real convict types in the holding cell. I finnally made it to a primary cell with one other prision mate. A large sleeping black man. I kept my mouth shut and was bailed out about 3 hours later.

I was charged with nothing as I was arrested for serving boose to underaged drinkers. Since I was underaged as well, I got off. It only cost me a nut becasue I was pretty sure I was going to hook up with a kinda fat chick (being drunk and all). Probably lucky in the scheme of things.

Yes. Underage drinking twice(once 1 month before my 21st birthday) and a bar fight(i didn't like the fat jerk getting rough with his girl, so I got rough with him, and proceeded to break my hand somewhere between punch 27 and 32 on his face).

I got locked up 9 times by nypd's finest....8 of the times I had to spend the night and then the rest of the day in court....8 times for weed, 1 time for smashin some kids window with a brick.
