The viola has a richer, darker, and more vibrant sound. While the violin has more of a treble, soloistic quality to it.

Back on topic... you can also use any wav file to replce the lady. You could record anyone, Sgt Fury for instance, saying things like "Player left" or "Switched channel" and use this in TS.
