I was recently kicked form your server for talking to another player using in game chat. I was being neither rude or disrespectful, and was kicked because me and the other player jsut having a conversation "disrupted gameplay". I enjoy playing in your server and would like to continue to, but I don;t think it is fair to be kicked for striking up a convsersation. Part of what makes a good gaming community is making some friends with other players, and kicking people everytime they start a conversation with soemone is not creating a good environment. I would like it if whatever admin kicked me was at least asked to not kick people for chatting (i was kicked around 1-50 to 2 am july 12th). Thank you, hopefully i will see you all on the server without getting kicked for chatting.

Frankly, no.
The game server is not a chat room. get IRC.

10- Chat spamming: this can get annoying quickly. A game server is not really the right place for a class reunion or political diatribes. Also, if you hit the radio chat too often, you could get a kick instead of that pickup.

Seriously, if youre having a converstion about the tank that is coming down the road to blow all your teammates to hell, thats fine, infact, thats encouraged.

Talking to someone about how their day was, what they do for a living, if they would let you bang their sister, thats something that need to be done away from the gaming environment. This is a teamplay server, clogging up the chat lines with personal diatribe instead of helping your teammtes is not teamplay. Ive seen you on the server, your a good player but Chacal is right on, the server isnt a chat room.

if an admin asks you to stop chatting then you should stop chatting.

Most everyone has already covered the finer points here. Suicidal, I had repeatedly asked you to drop the conversation. You and your buddy refused to let it die though. I kicked him first, and then when you stated it was admin abuse I decided I'd had enough of you as well.

In-game chat is for just that, the game. Talk about strategy, enemy troops, etc. You wanna talk about your heroin problems, or whatever else, find a forum, or chat room, and go nuts......
